2.1 Improves the situation but will 2.2 make it worse?

These screen shots were obtained from a very helpful article on the AppleInsider. The screen shot on the left is a screen shot is from 2.1 and the one on the right is the 2.2 version from the same application.

First of all, I wish a could have gotten this out sooner but i had to take time to test the performance and stability improvements of the 2.1 firmware.

Apple's iPhone and iPod touch firmware's performance and stability has had a major increase from the 2.0,2.0.1and 2.0.2 versions but considering these leaked screen shots of the first 2.2 beta(obtained from a very helpful article from the AppleInsider) are providing me with a gut feeling that the performance and stability improvements of 2.1 may vanish. This is not a fact just a gut feeling. We will just have to wait and find out how it is ourselves when it is released.

Apple Struggles as Product Quallity Drops

Apple's well known quality of products and services is dropping rapidly. Here are some of their latest fiascoes.
1. The Launch of the MobileMess(MobileMe)
2. The iPhone/iPod Touch 2.0 firmware.
3. The iPhone 2.0.2 firmware problem of being unable to make calls.
4. Hard drives dying less than a year after purchase
5. The budget class Mac Mini is being neglected and not being upgraded with better processers and such.
Thats it I may post a part two sometime.

How Apple Can Make $$$

There are multiple ways Apple can make money if they actually do them.
1. Lower the price of their computers many poor Vista users would like a Mac only to be turned away by highly inflated prices.
2. Release versions of iLife and iWork for Windows.
3. Release a copy of the iPhone/iPod Touch SDK for windows most people use windows so more potential sellers of apps on the AppStore and more Moolah for Apple.
4. Release a version of Mac OS X that will work on all PC hardware for $150 dollars or less so that people can safely and cheaply escape the monster of Microsoft and Windows Vista. This has another benefit of increasing the potential audience for all of their applications like Aperture and Final Cut Studio.
Apple if you are reading this act on my suggestions, Please!
